America is often described as a “nation of  immigrants”.  What do you think this means?  Do you believe it is true?

Means a united nation for likes with immigrants. Being honest I don’t think thats true. If you were born in America than you shouldn’t be called a immigrant becau of your skin. I hope this doesn’t become a cycle again.

I think this means is that America is a land of chance and freedom. No matter your race, you can succeed in what you desire. Also because of the amount of races in America.

I think since it was founded by immigrants they allowed everyone in. Whether it be refugees or just people who want a better life, everyone can come live here. Everyone in North America is descended from immigrants. Even the native Americans came from Asia a long time ago

I think the title "nation of immigrants" means all the people that live in the nation are not originally from the nation. In other words not born of the host nation. Yes I believe this is true as immigrants we took this land from the natives and made it our owe. We have established so much that we think we are natives and are trying to keep eveyone else out.

America is a nation of immigrants and that’s a fact. Almost all people in this nation have relatives that are from another country that came here at some point . The only people in America who aren’t immigrants are people that are truly from the Native American descent. But at some point in time someone in there family moved to America and started a new home .
